FAQ

1/ I come to the venue with a luggage or a heavy suitcase. Where can I deposit it?

--> Lockers will be available to store your belongings. A locked room will also be available next to the amphitheatre to deposit your heavy belongings. Please note that you are responsible for the blongings you keep with you inside and outside the amphitheatre. The amphitheatre will be locked during the lunch break, but for your safety keep your personal and/or valuable belongings in the storage areas designated above or by your side throughout the venue.

 

2/ Will a wi-fi internet access be available?

--> A free WiFi access will be available throught the meeting, the access code will be indicated on a board at the FIAP reception desk.


3/ I would like to have lunch on the venue.

--> We propose you to have lunch at the self-service restaurant "Cocagne" of the FIAP, located on the ground floor near the lounge area. The restaurant operates thanks to a meal ticket system, which we will be able to provide you at the reception desk.

 

4/ I would like to obtain a certificate of attendance at the meeting and/or a certificate of continuous training in animal experimentation after the venue

--> I will send you a notice shortly after the venue to ask you if you need a certificate of attendance. On this document will be specified how many hours of continuing education you will be able to value, according to the following calculation:

  • You attend mouse model session: you can value half a day of continuous training;
  • You attend NHP model session: you can value half a day of continuous training;
  • You attend Zebrafish/organoids model session: you can value half a day of continuous training;
  • You attend 3R networks session: we cannot value hours of continuous training.

The number of hours that you will be able to value will depend on the sessions for which you will have registered.

For example:

  • I only attend the mouse model session, my certificate will specify that I am then entitled to half a day of continuous training.
  • I only attend the two Monday sessions on mouse models and non-human primates, my certificate will specify that I am then entitled to one day of continuous training.
  • I attend all the sessions of the meeting, my certificate will specify that I am then entitled to a day and a half of continuous training.

 

5/ When the final programme will be available ?

--> I will send you a notice as soon as possible to give you the definitive schedule.

 

6/ What can I do if I have a last-minute unforeseen event that prevents me from coming to the meeting?

--> Please send me an email through vincent.jourdain@cnrs.fr and meeting-3rs@sciencesconf.org email addresses to let me know about it.

 

7/ How to register/I cannot register on the website, what can I do ?

--> Please proceed in this sequence:

  1. You need a SciencesConf account in order to register. If you cannot create one on the website, please try on the https://www.sciencesconf.org/ website, then try to register again on the meeting website : https://meeting-3rs.sciencesconf.org/registration
     
  2. If you cannot register following the previous step, please use the "contact" address on the bottom of the menu, and we will proceed to a manual registration.

However, please keep in mind the amount on seats available for each session is limited - you can check if a session is still available on the homepage.

 

8/ What is the situation in Paris regarding the coronavirus/covid-19 ?

--> For now, and within the framework of the action plan adopted by the french government to contain the spreading of the coronavirus, events gathering less than 5000 participants in closed places remain authorized. Thus, the 3Rs meeting is maintained at the time you receive this email.

If you have recently visited a country where there is significant virus activity, or an area designated as a codiv-19 "cluster", please reconsider your participation in the meeting.
