We followed day by day the spread of coronavirus in France. We have done our utmost to keep ourselves informed about the evolution of spreading and have worked to ensure that the meeting will take place as planned.
However, by decision of the CNRS, with deep regret we are obliged to cancel the 3R meeting that was scheduled from March 23 to March 24, 2020, in Paris.
Please accept our deepest apologies. We are fully aware of the advanced date on which we are announcing this decision.
But considering the current situation, we sincerely believe that this is the best solution.
We are actively working to propose, at later dates, a new edition of the meeting.
We remain at your entire disposal for any information regarding this announcement.
With the best regards of the organizing committee.
Introduction
Since its first edition in 2010, the meeting organized by the EFOR network (Functional Studies on Model organisms) has brought together nearly 300 researchers from around the world each year.
For its 10th edition and under the support of CELPHEDIA (Creation, Breeding, Phenotyping, Distribution and Archiving of model organisms), the meeting changes its format and focuses its theme on the Replace, Refine and Reduce principles (3Rs), aimed at rationalizing and limiting the use of animals in scientific research. This event will be an opportunity to highlight innovations in alternative methods, ethical thinking on the use of animals for scientific purposes and their direct application in research work.
You can attend the meeting by registering via the « Register » section of the website (free registration). For any further informations and querries about the meeting and registration, please contact us at vincent.jourdain[at]cnrs.fr or via the "Contact" page.
